Each day we put it off is a day that we aren’t totally at peace because we can’t relax with that “thing” still hanging out there. We didn’t address it because it takes energy, it takes self-reflection and it’s not always pleasant. Nonetheless it has to be done, it doesn’t self-correct. It only grows from a nuisance “thing” to a stalker “thing”.
That “thing” or “things” now, as they find friends to hang out with them if we don’t address them just keeps watching and waiting. Waiting and watching to stunt your growth, to affect your mind, your mood, and your focus. These “things” are not our friends. Why are we letting them hang out with us? We need to handle them and get that peace we deserve.
Today is that day. That day, we activate our “inner Rambo” (what do you want, I’m old) start kicking some you know what and taking names. We list these “things”, we prioritize these “things”, and we handle them one at a time until there are no more “things” to deal with. Some may take a little bit of time, and some may be dealt with over time, but they will be dealt with.
You see, as hard as it is sometimes, we’ve always come through, sometimes reluctantly, sometimes when forced to and sometimes late to the party. But we always show, we always grow, and we always find the strength, the fortitude and the vision to course correct our own negative self-destructing flow.
Do it, you’ll feel better in the morning! (It’s better for you than aspirin)
